Tannewitz originated and pioneered the manufacture of high speed band saws. Tannewitz GHE high speed bandsaws are direct drive and custom-produced for special wood cutting operations. Strength and rigidity in their frames provide for maximum control of vibration and smoothness of operation.

Exceptionally heavy casting,  3/4″ to 1″ thick, the gooseneck design represents the shortest distance between the main frame and the upper wheel bearing. Consequently, this is the strongest, stiffest type of construction conceivable. The GH Series high speed bandsaws are designed for maximum life under severest conditions.
